Project Yellow Racing was founded in April of 2008 when founding members Justin Rausch and Ben Royall were wasting time at work talking motorsports and looking through Grassroots Motorsports magazine. One of the ads featured the 24 Hours of Lemons talk quickly turned to what car would be better and a quick search of Craigslist showed many cars that could be had that could meet the $500 requirement. It was then that it was decided to do any of the races. Sandeep Shah was also quickly added to the team.
Justin Rausch
El Capitan and only member with actual motorsport experience. His "experience" is mostly of screwing up a good race by spinning off track and agricultural excursions. You know, leading by examples of what not to do.
Ben Royall
Gran Turismo master and expert bartender, both requirements for a proper Lemons assult. Oh, he is also a machinist.
Sandeep Shah
The man knows everything. Metalurgist by trade and the offical enforcer of the team, do not mess wih this man.
