Driver's side floor. The rust is visible in the front left corner near the wheel well/ dead pedal area. This area was noticable when the car was purchased but considered fixable. The next area was actually hidden....

 

 

The rear "foot well" was completely eaten by rust. When doing the check before purchase the rust proofing was actually intact and hid this entire area. The picture was taken after i busted the lower right seat post through the floor when unloading the car off the trailer. The rust extends under the sound proofing and in the repair stages all affected metal was cut out and a new steel was welded in. Only the bare minimum metal was removed... remember that when you see how much new metal needed to be added.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The passenger side also was not imune from the ferrous oxide cancer. This side was not as extensive as the diver's side, but repairs will still be needed.
