Project Yellow Racing "Hires" New Driver.
After hearing all the tails of greatness, Sandeep Shah joins Project Yellow Racing. He brings with him the desire to work for free, wrech on the car at all hours of the night and last but not least, offer to put the team up at his house during the compition. Truly he is a great addition. One other thing he may well know everything there is to know, about pretty much anything.

The Chariot Awaits!
After many hours of "working", today a car worthy of undergoing the transformation from street car eyesore to full on lemon warrior eysore was found. The beast is a 1986 Honda CRX Si. The car comes complete with.... well it's mostly there I think. But wait there's more! The car does come with a slipping clutch. The seller is one of those guys who gets the junkers running again and tries to flip them for some cash. This car was apearntly the straw that broke the HOA's ordinace for number of cars parked on the street. So his loss is Project Yellow's gain. No worries the test drive resulted in finding out the car has a terrible clutch, and the struts are completly shot. Oh did I mention that the guy almost wrecked it while showing me what the car can do (I didn't drive because most likely I would have fried the last remaing bit of clutch still there). Apearently when I say "Can you take it a little harder in the next turn to see if the handleing is good." That translates to crank the steering as hard as you can when you lift off the throttle and see if you can spin it into the parked cars on this suburban street.
Did I also mention that driving a rented truck and trailor down streets as wide as the trailor is not fun. The best driving I will ever do with this car and it's being towed! On the way home the weight reduction program got off to an early start as at least two panels came off the car somewhere between Denver and Colorado Springs! Finally the Rex is back home and now I can move my new to me 2005 STi out of the garage so that I can fit my $350 Honda CRX in its place. Funny thing what racing will make you do.

Project Yellow Racing Has Been Formed.
Let history show that on this day Justin Rausch and Benjamin Royall decided that it was a good idea to try and race a $500 car for 24 hours. After seeing a flyer in Grassroots Motorsport Magazine, and a quick search on Craigslist, it was decided that the above was, in fact a good idea. More to come....
